The EAL Academy's clients include Primary, Secondary, Nursery and Special schools, teachers, academies trusts, local authorities, international schools, charities, trusts and academic institutions based in the UK and abroad.
Our work for these organisations takes many different forms: delivering single training courses in-school, in-class coaching, developing bespoke training resources, through to full-blown consultancy and training over a period of some years. But we always begin with the organisation's needs and develop an approach that is appropriate to the current situation.

Peterborough City Council

From late 2012 into the Summer of 2017 we worked with Peterborough City Council to developed EAL provision in schools across the city.  During that time, we saw significant increases in EAL attainment.  We produced a Peterborough EAL Strategy and provided

  • training (including our online and masters courses)
  • in class coaching
  • the Peterborough EAL Handbook.

Our legacy in Peterborough includes

  • An EAL Strategy Group of senior leaders from schools
  • EAL practitioner networks
  • The award of the Gold EAL Quality Mark to several Peterborough schools, including the first award to a special school

We continue to work with Peterborough City Council, individual Peterborough schools and Academy Trusts.
