Fran Paffard

Fran has 30 years’ experience working in multilingual Primary and Nursery schools in London, with particular expertise in the Early Years.
She has worked as deputy head teacher of a nursery school, advisory teacher for Ethnic Minority Achievement and for Early Years, as a regional director for the National Strategies and more recently as a Senior Lecturer on BA and PGCE teacher training programmes at the University of East London and the University of Cumbria.
Fran has also worked as a freelance consultant for many years and frequently presents at conferences in the UK and abroad. She has written articles for TACTYC, Early Education, Early Years Educator and Nursery World, and chapters in The Early Years: A Reader, and Desirable Literacies.
