Kamil Trzebiatowski


Kamil has worked in the field of EAL since 2007, following 6 years as a classroom teacher of English Language in Poland. His EAL career has spanned work in schools and peripatetic advisory services in both England and Scotland. He currently works as an EAL co-ordinator at a secondary school in Kingston-Upon-Hull, along with playing a very active role in the EAL community through blogging, numerous speaking appearances, organising events and training. His blog, Valuing and Protecting Diversity, is dedicated to raising awareness of issues of racial and cultural diversity, content-based language teaching and bilingualism in education.  He is particularly committed to promoting EAL Partnership Teaching with mainstream colleagues and spreading awareness of the distinctiveness of EAL pedagogy.
