Kathy Walsh

Kathleen has worked in all sectors of statutory, adult and tertiary education and currently works to promote academic and professional English language skills with post-16 students. She was a senior consultant with the Ethnic Minority Achievement Service in Islington, specialising in primary- secondary transfer, social and emotional aspects of learning, and equalities issues. She helped recruit and manage a central team of Bilingual Parent Support Advisors. She is a licensed ‘Language in Learning across the Curriculum’ tutor, a ‘Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities’ programme facilitator, and holds the Graduate Certificate in Education Development and Consultancy.
