Louise McArdle

Louise is an experienced Executive Headteacher, Headteacher and National Leader of Education. She has successfully led two schools, in very different contexts, to outstanding in all areas. She has a wealth of experience and knowledge of EAL, diversity and inclusion. Her most recent headship was in a school with 98% of the intake having English as an additional language, as well as a significant number also being International New Arrivals.

Louise has a track record of achieving exceptional results and rapidly improving schools. She has also worked as a Primary Consultant and Adviser. She is very experienced in leading teaching and learning reviews, particularly peer reviews. Louise is also an associate and adviser for a number of educational institutions and regularly delivers training to schools on a range of issues as well as working as an assessor for educational awarding bodies. She has also participated in a range of action research projects with Cumbria University, Queen’s University, and Fisher Family Trust, as well as presenting at National Conferences.
