Lynsey Irish

Lynsey has taught in a large primary school in Somerset for the past 15 years. She has experience in FS, KS1 and KS2 and teaching both new arrivals and advanced EAL learners.
She started her role as EAL Coordinator in 2014 when the school had increasing numbers of EAL children arriving. Since then she has furthered her own knowledge and that of the other staff of how to teach EAL learners, identify learners with possible SEN needs and track children’s progress. In addition she delivered the Somerset Centred Initial Teaching Training Input for EAL .
