Sara McLaughlin

Sara has worked in Islington schools for over 25 years, first as a secondary English teacher and then for many as an EAL Co-ordinator in a primary school. As deputy head of Islington EMAS Sara led on race equality and community cohesion. She was the link consultant for several schools and is an experienced trainer in equalities and EAL issues. Much of her time is spent working with schools and teachers to develop strategies to close identified attainment gaps. Sara is a qualified OfSTED inspector and also has a Graduate Certificate in Education Development and Consultancy.
