Previous posts as a primary school teacher in London and EFL teacher in SE Asia have provided Stephen with a variety of challenges and experiences which have enabled him to successfully build a career as an advisory teacher and school improvement consultant.
Stephen’s teaching, training, mentoring and consultancy skills have successfully supported practitioners in early years settings, primary and secondary schools in Birmingham, Bristol, Bath, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset to develop their BME inclusion practice and to raise the attainment of Black and Minority Ethnic children and young people, including early stage as well as more advanced bilingual learners.
As an EAL consultant within the British Council’s EAL Nexus project Stephen also supported primary and secondary schools in Northern Ireland.
